City of Münster
Münster, the City of the Peace of Westphalia, looks back on a history of over 1.200 years.
It is well known for its large university with 37.000 students, founded in 1760, which is partly loacted in a picturesque castle.
In 2008 it has won an International Award for Liveable Communities and is now authorised to call itself The World's Most Liveable City. Competing cities, out of 450, were such as Seattle (USA) or Okayama (Japan).

There are three aspects catching one's attention at the first visit to Münster: the beautiful old town, the host of bicycles, and all the young people. The image and the life in the city of science are coined by about 50,000 students.
