Guided Walking Tour Through Münster’s Old Town

Discover Münster during our guided tour of the Old Town, an entertaining and informative ramble through history!

During our tour, we visit the historical Town Hall, the Prinzipalmarkt with it's magnificent gabled houses and the mighty St. Paul’s cathedral. Inside the Astronomical Clock offers you an extraordinary sight once a day.

Other highlights of the tour are the story of the Baptists, the cages hanging from the tower of Lamberti Church bearing eloquent witness to their fates, and a visit to the Baroque Quarter with the Erbdrostenhof Mansion and Clemens Church.

Upon request, we can also accompany you on a visit to the Peace Hall ("Friedenssaal") in the Town Hall.

Our competent and qualified guides will tell you about missionaries and bishops, an apocalypse which did not take place, about war and peace, about rebuilding and bicycles – to sum it up: we will take a close look at the city, accompanied by you.

Theodor Heuß, first President of the Federal Republic of Germany
