Three Castles Route

Westerwinkel Castle – Nordkirchen Castle – Vischering Castle

Our route guides you to Lüdinghausen via Herbern and Nordkirchen, three castles located in south-west Münsterland. The starting point is a guided tour of Westerwinkel Castle.

The perpetual student

A journey through 230 years of student life and university history in Münster.
It has been quite some time since our student enrolled at the local university one morning in April 1780 but he nevertheless does not appear to have become tired of studying in Münster – and “the studying of Münster“, as he emphasises – by a long way.

Guided walking tour through Münster’s old town.

Discover Münster during our guided tour of the old town, an entertaining and informative ramble through history!

During our tour, we visit the historical town hall, the Prinzipalmarkt with the magnificent gabled houses and the mighty St. Paul’s cathedral. Inside the astronomical clock offers you an extraordinary sight once per day.

A cycling tour of Münster

A cycling tour through Germany’s most bicycle-friendly city – Münster has been awarded the title three times in succession – is simply a special experience. You cycle around the historical city centre along the promenade with its linden trees. Lake Aa, the Prince-Bishop residential palace or the Cow Quarter invite you to take a break before you also discover the old town by bicycle. A visit to the inside of St. Paul’s cathedral and the Peace Hall if required, are also on the programme.
